Kingswater Dental Practice – Frequently Asked Questions
We’ve put together answers to the most common questions we receive at Kingswater Dental Practice. We hope this helps you understand how we work and what to expect from your care with us.
At the moment, we’re not accepting new NHS patients.
Our NHS funding is limited and hasn’t increased in several years, so our list is already full. Taking on more patients without extra funding would mean longer waits and less time for those already registered.
We’re still here for you privately, with affordable membership plans, flexible finance, and the same caring team ready to help.
Absolutely — we welcome new private patients.
Private care means you can usually be seen more quickly, with longer appointment times and more treatment options. We’ll talk through everything clearly and give you a full written plan before any treatment starts.
Your first visit includes a comprehensive 12-point dental health check for £70.
This includes:
- Full oral exam — teeth, gums, bite, and jaw
- X-rays (if needed)
- Oral cancer screening
- Checks for mobility, wear, and gum health
- A discussion of any concerns or goals
After the exam, you’ll receive a written treatment plan and cost breakdown, so there are no surprises. It’s a one-off fee that covers everything in that first visit — giving you a full picture of your dental health.
Yes — we offer interest-free finance (subject to approval) and flexible payment plans so you can spread the cost of treatments like implants, crowns, and smile makeovers. We’ll go through all the options during your consultation so you can find what works best for your budget.
Our membership plans help you spread the cost of regular dental care and stay on top of your oral health.
Plans start from around £10 a month and can include:
- Regular check-ups and hygiene visits
- Routine X-rays
- Discounts on private treatments
- Priority booking and emergency support
It’s a simple way to budget and maintain your smile without large one-off bills.
Yes — we offer a full range of restorative and cosmetic treatments, including veneers, crowns, bridges, whitening, and implants. We’ll show you all available options and explain the pros, cons, and costs clearly before you decide.
We’ll always try to get you in as quickly as possible — especially for emergencies or urgent issues. For routine appointments, we’ll offer flexible times that work around your schedule, including evenings or weekends when available.
Yes — we have starter plans for patients who just want basic care, and discounted plans for children. If you’re on a lower income, talk to us — we’ll do our best to make sure cost doesn’t stop you getting the care you need.
Yes — our team includes general dentists, hygienists, and implant providers, so you’ll always be seen by the right person for your needs. If a treatment needs specialist input, we’ll explain why and guide you every step of the way.
